Mysterious invaders called the Septentriones arrive in Japan and begin attacking the country on a Sunday. To fight back, the heroes in Devil Survivor 2 signed a pact with the devil to become the Thirteen Devil Messengers. The Septentriones show up at least once a day and you have a time limit of seven days to defeat them.

Sakamaki Izayoi, a boy bored with the entire world, one day receives a letter, with the following wording:
“This letter is for those of you with many troubles and extraordinary powers. If you wish to see how far that power of yours will take you, cast aside your family, your friends, your possessions, and come to our Little Garden.”
The moment Izayoi opens the envelope, he is transported to an alternate world. There, he discovers that two other problem children were transported by letters as well — a taciturn girl named Kasukabe You with a cat, and a beautiful yet haughty girl named Kudou Asuka. A girl named Kuro Usagi (Black Rabbit) summoned the three to her presently unnamed (No Name) community, giving them a chance to participate in the Gift Games… well, and to use their gifts to help her weak community regain reputation, name and banner from the Demon Lord, who took those away in a Gift Game.

The story is set in a world embroiled by war between Humans and Demons. The Humans` greatest hero invades the Demon Queen`s castle determined to vanquish her. However, instead of fighting back, the Queen proposes an alliance with the Hero. She explains how a sudden end to the war can bring further chaos to the world as the Humans once united to stand against their common enemies would eventually begin fighting among themselves, with similar issues already occurring at the Demon Realm. Convinced by her words, the Hero joins forces with the Queen and together they execute a plan to bring prosperity and a lasting peace to both Humans and Demons alike.

After her father having run away due to gambling debts, and being evicted from her apartment, Nanami meets Mikage, a strange man who is afraid of dogs. Nanami saves Mikage from a dog and tells him her story. He gives Nanami his house as a thank you for saving him. Nanami accepts the offer, due to having nowhere else to go. Mikage draws her up a map showing her where to go. Upon arriving, she finds that it is a rundown shrine. Nanami is then almost killed by Tomoe, who was expecting Mikage to finally return after his 20 year absence. She is then greeted by both Onikiri and Kotetsu, as the new land god of the shrine. Unable to accept Nanami as the new land god, Tomoe mocks her then leaves the shrine, which, without Tomoe`s power transforms back into a run-down state. Not wanting to rob Tomoe of his home and realizing that her powers as a god are too weak anyway Nanami leaves, but eventually is brought back by Tomoe after she seals a contract with him, making him her familiar.

Despite the use of the Youth Ordinance Bill to enforce curfews for minors and regulate the use of the Internet, young people continue to fight for their own freedom through underground methods. One such group calls themselves Surat. They have decided to take on Nanahara Fumito, a man who has great influence in the political world, and basically controls Tokyo with an iron fist. While using the Internet as a weapon to discover more information about Fumito, they learn about Tower, the secret organization behind Fumito which engages in human experimentation.
When members of Surat attempt to set up an ambush in the subway to expose the truth behind Tower, mysterious creatures suddenly appear and attack the passengers. During this crisis, Saya appears — a young girl who uses a Japanese blade to slay the Old Ones. The same Saya who lost everything dear to her in that horrifying incident in the Ukishima Province.
What sort of experiment is Fumito and Tower trying to conduct using the Old Ones? And can Saya finally deliver vengeance to Fumito? Now, the final battle begins…

Shinshu is too small to accommodate all the humans, so they duplicate the area and create Juso Sekai in a parallel world. In order to rebuild Tenjo and the law of causation, the returned humans start reproduction of the history from B.C. 10,000. When the reproduction proceeds to A.D. 1413, a war breaks out in Shinshu and Juso Sekai falls onto the original world.
The humans living in Juso Sekai lose their land and invade the original world. People in Shinshu surrender and the land is divided by the invaders from Juso Sekai. They try to resume the history reproduction from A.D.1457, but the update of the history terminates in A.D.1648. A rumor of apocalypse begins to spread the world.

Following the events of the first series Keima has managed to capture the hearts of four girls and thus the spirits which hid in their hearts. But the way to escape the real world is still long and his quest has only just begun. Suddenly a beautiful girl chasing a spirit appears before him. She is Haqua, Elsea`s friend and an outstanding student back in hell, who was promoted to the rank of a district chief. However, it seems that she is hiding something. This boy is the son of none other than the demon king Daimaou and Oga has been chosen as the one to raise it with the help of baby`s maid Hilda.
Since Oga can no longer part with Baby Beel — without almost dying — they visit the delinquent school together from then on. An inconvenience, that Oga attempts to `pass on` to other students at Ishiyama — the theory is that if Oga can find someone more evil and stronger than himself, Baby Beel will `attach` to that person instead. Kicked out of heaven for their misdeeds there, these two angels now have to battle Ghosts on Earth for Heaven Coin, to pay for tickets back to Heaven.
“Do the angels bring tidings of hope and light? Or do they bring despair and darkness?” Better bet on the latter!
